Purchases of digital products and paid newsletter subscriptions

Digital products and paid newsletter subscriptions are sold by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and billing data under its own privacy policy. It shares with us the details we need to deliver your purchase and give you access, such as your name, email address and order details.

Who we share data with

We use the following service providers, which process data on our behalf or, where stated, as independent controllers. [Confirm before launch.]

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, security and email forwarding.
  • Kit (ConvertKit): newsletter sending and subscriber management.
  • Lemon Squeezy: merchant of record for products and paid subscriptions (independent controller for payment data).
  • Stripe: payment processing for services, listings and sponsorships.
  • Tally: enquiry, qualification and onboarding forms.
  • Cal.com: call booking.
  • Google Workspace or Gmail: email and lead records.

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States or other countries outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so that we do not email you again.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months from last contact.
  • Client and billing records: six years after the end of the relevant financial year, for tax and accounting purposes.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies. Embedded forms and booking tools (Tally, Cal.com) may set their own cookies when you use them.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@mmctrims.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
